In a major cabinet reshuffle, the Enugu state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwunayi, on Thursday, July 27, removed three commissioners and put in two new ones. According to reports, those removed are Dr. Godwin Udeuhele (Commissioner for Information), Mr. Charles Ndukwe (Commissioner for Youth and Sports) and Barrister Smart Ogbe (Commissioner for Inter-Governmental Affairs).
The newly sworn-in commissioners are Mr. Ogbuagu Anikwe who now takes charge of the Information Ministry and Mr. Joseph Udedi who was deployed to the Ministry of Youth and Sport. Both men were sworn-in during the meeting of the State Executive Council.
The governor made the changes as a first step towards his goal to further enhance effective delivery of good governance to the state’s indigenes.
