Gov Ugwuanyi (Gburus4+4) Ready for 2019 Governorship Election in Enugu State
… Sets up Campaign Team Ahead of Election

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has showcased his readiness to be reelected as Governor of the State in the 2019 general elections having led the state to an enviable height and a choice destination through the provision of quality, developmental, peaceful, business friendly and people oriented leadership of the state in the past three and half years.

The readiness of the people’s governor of Enugu State to seek reelection was unveilled via his announcement of the names that will spearhead his Campaign Organization.

Considering his wealth of experience as a party/campaign administrator having been the first Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in the state and also the Director General of the Ugwuanyi Campaign Organization during the last election of 2015, the Governor appointed Chief Charles Egumgbe as the Director General of his re-election Campaign Organization.

Egumgbe who holds a Ph.D in Law, is well known for his strong capacity on issues brand marketing and strategic planning for electoral successes of his camp.

Also appointed are very powerful personalities like Chief Ikeje Asogwa, who will serve as the Secretary of the organization, a prolific writer cum lawyer, Barr Nana Ogbodo, who will serve as Director of Communications.

Others are Charlie Agbo (Head of Strategy); and Frank Nweke jr (Zonal Director, East Senatorial zone) among others.

Governor Ugwuanyi who is highly favoured to win the Enugu guber elections next year announced the appointment at a well-attended major stakeholders meeting held at the Government House Enugu at the weekend.

In attendance at the meeting were, Senators Ike Ekweremadu, (the Deputy Senate President), Chuka Utazi, Fidelis Okoro, Dr. Okwesilize Nwodo (former Governor) Okechukwu Itanyi, and other national Assembly members, candidates and top echelon of the PDP in the state.
