The Chairman of Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area and Deputy Chairman of ALGON Enugu State, Hon. Barr. Ugo Ferdinand Ukwueze, has hailed the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, for ensuring the successful completion of training for the newly recruited Police constables.
Ukwueze while receiving the newly recruited police officers from various wards of the local government, extended the council’s felicitation for the employment opportunities to the youths of the council.
The police constables who recently completed their rigorous training, were accompanied to pay a courtesy visit on the Chairman by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the council area, Tams Agbo (CSP).
Addressing the recruits, Hon. Ukwueze commended their resilience and determination throughout their training period.
He urged them to remain dedicated to their duty of safeguarding lives and property, emphasizing the critical role they will play in maintaining peace and security across the federation.
He said, “Convey my goodwill message to the Inspector General of Police and let him know that Igbo-Eze South is proud of the efforts being made to build a stronger and more professional police force.
“You are the foundation of that vision, and I believe in your capacity to deliver.”
The Chairman further motivated the young officers to aim higher in their careers adding, “Set clear targets for what you want to achieve in your profession.
“Whether it is to climb the ranks or specialize in a particular area, work diligently, and never lose sight of your goals. Above all, always strive to be exceptional in everything you do, both in your profession and in life,” he encouraged.
The DPO, CSP Tams Agbo, thanked the Chairman for his support and assured him of police commitment to securing the local government area and Enugu State at large.
