She called on her country and other West, East and Central African countries to emulate what Nigeria has done, noting that the competition have always been hosted most times by the North Africans.

“We are out of competition but we’ll still continue to compete at the lower ranking which is between the 9th and the 16th position and our main objective now is to be 9th.
“We are encouraged by what the Customs through the Comptroller General has put in place for the competition and I want other countries like Cameroon and other African countries to try to emulate what Nigeria has achieved in organising this tournament.
“The quality of the tournament is indeed top-notch and of international standard,”
Also, team captain of Al-Alhy Egypt, Mayar Khalifa, thumbed up the organisers on what they have put up so far.
While expressing confidence in her team’s ability to navigate its way to the final and take the cup back to Egypt, Khalifa said, “The organisation of this competition is the best.

On why her team has been on an excellent all through the competition, she said, “We discussed with our wings and we played well and we won.
