The Traditional Ruler of Itchi Kingdom in Igbo Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu State, His Royal Highness, Igwe Ben Ugwu, has described the All Progressive Congress (APC) Campaign Spokesman, Barr. Festus Keyamo, as a disaster.
HRH Ugwu who made the statement in a Facebook post, was reacting to Festus Keyamo’s inability to resolve the issues that led to ASUU strike as a Minister of Labour.
The Traditional Ruler said that Keyamo as a Minister who could not address the ASUU strike that has lingered for more than six months is not fit to be the campaign Spokesman of APC.
While noting that Keyamo’s inability to resolve the ongoing ASUU strike meant that he was a failure that cannot market the campaign of APC, he said, “A Minister of Labour who cannot resolve FGN/ASUU dispute in 6 months is a failure. Nobody will belive you as APC campaign manager. A disaster.”
It will be recalled that the Academic Staff Union of Univierties commenced the ongoing strike action on the February 14, 2022 and since then Nigeria students in public schools have been at home.
Recently, a lecturer was seen hawking food stuffs in a bid to feed her family.
